The Rock Monsters are the enemy of the Future Mining (Robert Jacob, Terrence, Tyler and Duke). They appear in all of the Future Mining episodes and scenes. They are made of different colored rock and crystals. There are five different kinds of Rock Monster. The rock monsters are Meltrocks, Boulderacks, Glacier, Sulfur, and Firocks. Meltrocks are scarlet, and are apparently always furious. The yellowy ones, Sulfurs, are intelligent and can melt tunnels through solid rock. Apparently, all of the Rock Monsters are afraid of the blue Glaciers. The Glaciers are shown to have ice powers. The green ones are Boulderacks which are tough, slow, but unintelligent, and always attempt to destroy the Future Mining vehicles. The orange ones are Firocks which are super fast, sneaky, and love to play tricks.

The Rock Monsters have been tunneling to the surface of Venture so they can take over the world after mysterious earthquakes from deep in Venture, and the Future Miners plan to stop them.

They are shown to have primitive technology, like catapults. The Rock Monsters eat crystals, which give them power. If a rock monster eats a different colored crystal to what it is it will fart and throw up. If they consume dynamite (and it goes off in the stomach) they will solidify.

In Part 2, a new type of large Rock Monster are shown. They appear to be large versions of the small monsters. The large version of Sulfur is called Geo, while the large version of Meltrocks is Tremorox. As well as those, another rock monster called the Rock Rage, the biggest Rock Monster. He is now awoken from his sleep.
