Dungeons are small underground rooms or cells made of cobblestone and moss rock and contain a creature creator and up to 2 chests, generally associated with strongholds. Torture chambers without a chest are extremely unlikely. Additionally, there is a chance of a dungeon being found without a creator. Occasionally, a torture chamber will have a double chest. Torture chambers generate with either a cannibal (common), shooter (uncommon), or Crawler (uncommon) creator. The creator is always in the center of the room, with chests located around the walls of the room (large chests can connect with the short side against the wall). Each floor is made of moss rock and cobblestone.
- The torture chambers' association with torture belongs to the Renaissance period.
